Friday Funny: The Mean Stepdad Governors

Posted in:

The Daily Show's Jon Stewart takes on a number of new governors (including our own Governor Corbett) in an amusing segment that, in true Stewart fashion, is peppered with profanity. In it, he describes each of the guv's relationship with their state as going from "cool new boyfriend to psychotic stepdad" in the weeks after they took office.

From our perch, we were particularly amused by his take on Maine Governor Paul LePage's decision to take down a mural in the Department of Labor building for being too pro-labor. Stewart's take: "A Department of Labor with a mural celebrating ... labor. Now, I've seen everything. By the way, the mural's one-sided? Do you understand how murals work? Generally, it's a two-dimensional art form."

Check out the full clip here. But as I warned, the language is a little coarse.
